Light & Building and artworks by Patrizia Castano

The Light & Building event is an important coming-together of all professionals but also of those with a simple interest in architecture, technology, lighting and design, which ran from 13th-18th March 2016 in Frankfurt; the central theme of this event was the ultra-contemporary concept of “modern space”.

As in previous years, this year SapiSelco was a main attraction with its products, but also with a new, innovative project: ArtisTie. A space dedicated to artworks created using cable ties, which are transformed from a high performance technical product into a unique, essential artistic creation.

The artist who decided to take part in this initiative and whose artworks were displayed on this occasion was Patrizia Castano, an artist from Varese who has been working for years on assembling many different materials to create artworks, specialising above all in the use of cable ties. The result is elegant and refined, a broad range of design objects which already at this first exhibition for ArtisTie are setting their sights on becoming real must-have items.
